About Me

Kinohi Abafo is an interdisciplinary fine artist who enjoys creating with various mediums and continuing to expand ways of expression through visually aesthetic work. Born in Japan to a father from Hawaii and a mother from Cincinnati, she is accustomed to change in environment and social interaction. After dabbling in the science field at the University of Cincinnati’s Clermont College from 2014-2016, she decided that her passion lied within the arts. She spends her undergraduate at the University of Cincinnati’s College of Design, Architecture, Art, and Planning exploring ideas of self, identity, and consciousness through the explorations of various mediums. Beginning in the Fall of 2021, she will begin her to study TESOL (Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages) at Hawaii Pacific University.
She currently works as a freelance photographer and graphic designer, along with helping manage her families food truck and bartending/serving on the side.
